5/8″ high x 2 3/4″ wide x 3/8″ deep. Bronze. Zoomorphic stylized horse, typical of the period, with bird form on shackle bar. Decorated with incised lines and dot and whorl motifs. The (absent) slide key, inserted in the front, would have released springs on either side of the remaining interior bar, freeing the shackle; however, all iron has corroded away. Damage to right hind leg.
