4 1/4″ high x 3 3/8″ wide x 1 9/16″ deep. Brass body. Steel shackle. Weight: 2lbs 5ozs. The drop has a special mechanism that allows it to be pulled up and lock to the side. Originally, I believe that this mechanism also prevented the drop from sliding to the left without first pushing it upward. It is worn down just enough now that it will rotate to the left, but not as much as when you first push the drop upward.
