3 1/4″ wide. Steel body. Steel shackle. All of the edges are chamfered. The key may not be original but it is old. The shackle is held at two points. The key must be screwed in to release the main bolt, and then a slide must be pulled out above the keyway to release a second bolt which releases the shackle.
