2 7/8″ high x 2 1/4″ wide. Brass. Barrel key. Trunk/Hasp lock. The obverse of the case has a shield type design cast on it. “PAT.APR.18.1882” stamped on the reverse of the case at 6 o’clock.Patent # D12891.
