” – Left Pin – Low Rounded Shackle. It is not clear if this is a factory low rounded shackle, or altered after manufacture. Lafayette College of Easton PA was founded in 1826, and opened in 1832 with 43 students in a rented farm house. Some locks have “PATENT PENDING” stamped on the obverse of the shackle.
