2 1/2″ wide x 1 5/8″ deep x 3/8″ shackle diameter x 1″ shackle clearance. Cast stainless Steel body. Stainless steel shackle. This lock would be considered an 826C. “PAT. PEND.” is stamped on the base of the body. I dont know why the word “NAVY” was cast on the lock. The very first locks were chrome plated, after testing they said the plating wasnt required.
