The primary purpose of this lock was to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Master Lock Co. The lock was given to wholesalers with a personalized name plate. Employees who completed 50 years of service were presented a lock with an engraved plaque and then were eligible to join the company “Golden Key Club”.
